Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education issues an Annual Comprehensive Financial Report at the end of the school year. These are available on the district's website.  Links for each year are below.

The board's annual financial report has been audited by the same firm, Charlotte based Dixon Hughes Goodman for several decades.     In 2022  Dixon Hughes Goodman​ merged with BKD to become Forvis Mazars, LLP based in Richmond, Va.  The board remained with FORVIS.  Audit service for school year 2023-24 were $207,000.

Over the years I've attended the district's annual Audit Committee session where I listened to the auditor's comments.  Never heard a single objection.
